Living the French way

Preparing to study in France involves more than just academic readiness; mastering the French language is crucial for a smooth transition. If you already have a certified B2 level in French (TCF, TEF, DELF, DALF), you can directly enrol in our Bachelor’s or Master’s programmes. For those who need to improve their French proficiency, AD Education offers several pathways, including intensive language courses and specialized programmes.

In addition to language preparation, AD Education provides various initiatives to help you integrate into student life in France. Annual events like the ‘Welcome Day’ and the Buddy Programme are designed to connect you with fellow students and ease your transition. Explore these opportunities to make the most of your educational journey in France.

Learning French before enrolling on a programme

If you have a certified B2 level (TCF, TEF, DELF, DALF), you can enrol directly on one of our Bachelors or Masters courses once the course has been validated.

If you do not have the B2 level, there are three options available to you:

  • Study Abroad in France (SAF) programme
AD Education has set up an intensive French programme combined with specialised courses over one academic year, enabling students to reach the required level of French and to acquire or consolidate their artistic skills. This programme is offered only in Paris.
  • Français Langue Etrangère (FLE) in partnership with the Centre France Langue.

AD Education offers students the opportunity to take FLE courses for periods ranging from one month to one year, depending on their initial level. You can take French courses in different French cities such as Paris, Bordeaux, Biarritz, Nice and Lyon, etc.
– Global Exam https://global-exam.com/fr/exam

All students enrolled on an AD Education Group programme have free access to Global Exam. This is a platform that allows students to progress in French at their own pace thanks to online courses adapted to their level. These courses will enable students to improve their grammar and vocabulary and prepare for the DELF exam. They will be supplemented by conversation classes with a teacher. A link will be sent to you once you have registered.

Attend the Welcome Day

Every year, AD Education organises a ‘Welcome Day’ where students can meet each other and find out about the main administrative procedures to be completed once they arrive in France.

You will enjoy a convivial moment on one of our campuses in the company of other students.

Taking advantage of the Buddy Programme

The principle of the Buddy Programme is to put a French student in contact with one or more international students. Find out more at your campus when you arrive.
If you would like to meet students from other universities, there is a national programme that you can also sign up for https://buddysystem.eu/fr
