You will manage an auction house, a decoration or antique store, a gallery, a museum, etc. 

Skills :

As Art Market manager, you will develop a double set of skills, both in art and management. You will know how to administratively, juridically and financially manage the business, as well as adopt an international marketing strategy.
You will know how to prospect and how to supply your business. You are able to do a diagnosis of an artwork, an expertise and to put conservation actions in place. You will know how to organize conferences on art history and how to create exhibitions.

Profile:

Mobile and curious, the Art Market Manager likes to move from place to place. You visit artists’ workshops, and look for artworks. Intuitive, person of taste, you are interested in the evolution of trends, contemporary creation or heritage conservation.
You like history and its relation with artistic creation.
International, you speak several languages and are a regular guest to exhibitions.

In direct contact with the head of communication, you install all the communication projects in link with the different cultural and artistic demonstrations that you must put into light.

Communication director

The communication director has for mission to promote the image of his company within its environment.

He defines its global communication strategy and drives its realization at national or international scale, in harmony with the general direction.

Development officer

Under direct authority of the executive board, you ensure an expertise and counseling mission, conceive or participate in projects conception and put in place the actions linked with an increased visibility of art market, be it via an antique shop or an auction house.
